Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time.
- Post journal entries and maintain general ledger records.
- Assist with premium and policy-related financial transactions.
- Verify and reconcile vendor invoices.
- Prepare and issue payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
- Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Generate routine accounting reports for management review.
- Support audits by gathering required documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data.
- Follow insurance industry regulations and internal controls.
- Provide clerical support to senior accountants and finance staff.
- Assist with data entry and system updates.
- Communicate with internal departments and external vendors.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical finance experience.
- High School Diploma.
- Associates or Bachelors preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of accounting principals.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate:
- $17/hour.
