About the Job
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist in Easley. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely vendor payments, accurate invoices, and efficient collections, while maintaining strong relationships with both suppliers and customers.
In an Accounts Payable/Receivable role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Verifying purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy.
- Generating and sending customer invoices.
- Assisting with month-end close (accruals, reporting, reconciliations).
What you’ll need:
- 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a similar accounting role.
- Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or inventory-based business strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Business Central, NetSuite, or similar).
Great contract to hire opportunity working 1st shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday paying $18-$25 DOE.
