Position Overview
Openwork is hiring an experienced Assembler to support a manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in handling large or oversized materials in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble pre-cut wooden components into finished cable reels.
- Use hand tools and measuring devices to ensure proper assembly and accuracy.
- Weigh, label, and tag finished products for shipment.
- Apply grease to reels to provide waterproof protection.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with additional production or warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a labor-intensive and non-climate-controlled environment.
