Openwork is partnering with a respected manufacturing company to hire a skilled CNC Machinist for a full-time opportunity in a climate-controlled facility.

This role is ideal for machinists with strong milling experience who take pride in producing high-quality parts and want long-term stability with growth potential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines, with a primary focus on CNC mills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Develop machining processes and select appropriate tooling.
- Program using G-code at the machine or workstation.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor machine repairs.
- Maintain accurate production records and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality requirements.
- Support and guide machinist helpers as needed.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Required: Strong CNC milling experience.
- Proficiency reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Knowledge of metals, alloys, and machining processes.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and ISO standards.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Work Environment & Safety:
- Climate-controlled shop.
- Work involves handling lead materials; strict safety protocols are required.
- Must be clean-shaven for proper respirator fit.
- Must wear a respirator during work hours.
- End-of-shift showering and periodic blood testing required.
