Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a CNC Press Brake Operator for a leading manufacturing company located in North or South San Antonio. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components that meet precise specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator who takes pride in craftsmanship, quality, and teamwork.

As a CNC Press Brake Operator, you’ll be responsible for:

Setting up and operating CNC press brake machines according to production drawings and specifications.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
Inspecting finished parts using measuring tools and making necessary adjustments.
Performing routine maintenance and reporting equipment issues promptly.
Maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Collaborating with production and engineering teams to meet daily goals and deadlines.

What you’ll need:

1.5+ years of experience operating a CNC press brake (Amada, Trumpf, or similar preferred).
Must have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting for 2-4+ years.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work occasional weekends and overtime.

Perks:

Pay range: $22–$34 per hour, depending on experience.
Consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-3:00am.
Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekends if needed.
