Openwork is assisting a firearm manufacturing company located in Smyrna GA seek a Community Management Specialist   Shift is 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $23.40 per hour

General Purpose:
The community management specialist reports to the Communications Manager and is responsible for assisting with social media strategy implementation by posting engaging with the community through various channels to ensure a favorable public image on behalf of company

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
General Duties:
  • Responsible for executing community response strategies and engagement through various communication channels as the brand to further develop the community.
  • Monitor general inquiries and community engagements, cultivating new communities and managing branded online communities on the company’s behalf using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, forums, blogs and other social media channels.
  • Provide assistance to the content creation team and relevant content recommendations based on community feedback and engagement through tracking metrics and monitoring relevant conversations.

Administrative Assistant Duties:
  • Serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Marketing Director.
  • Implements social media and communication campaigns through engagement with communities that align with larger communication strategies.
  • Provide recommendations and assistance in content creation for engaging text, image and video development.
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner on company managed social platforms and general blogs and forums.
  • Respond to and assist with customer queries, donation and sponsorship requests, and event support requests through various channels of communication.
  • Monitor and report on social listening, community and media engagement, sponsorships, and event support.
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging.
  • Maintain product knowledge and availability within market spaces.
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
