Openwork is actively hiring a dependable Custodial & Maintenance Associate to support a fast-paced industrial facility. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment that keeps operations running efficiently.
Candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to start in a hands-on role are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, work areas, and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize production and shared spaces.
- Manage waste removal and keep disposal areas organized.
- Assist with light maintenance, including painting and facility upkeep.
- Support outdoor cleanup and general facility organization.
- Work safely around equipment and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience.
- Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Active, hands-on industrial setting.
- Safety-focused workplace.
- Occasional Saturday work as needed.
