Manufacturing & Wood Product Assembly
Openwork is hiring an experienced General Laborer for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This hands-on position involves producing wood products, supporting assembly-line operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience and be comfortable working in a labor-intensive, non-climate-controlled environment.
Position at a Glance
Location: Denton, TX
Pay: $18.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: Required as needed, including shifts of up to 12 hours and weekends when necessary
What You'll Be Doing:
- Produce and assemble wood products in a manufacturing environment.
- Perform general labor duties on a high-production assembly line.
- Follow written instructions and product specification sheets.
- Handle materials and support daily production activities.
- Check work for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company safety and production procedures.
- Assist with additional manufacturing duties as needed.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience — REQUIRED.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to read and follow product specification sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and remain active throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a labor-intensive, non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
- Availability for required overtime, including 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
