What You’ll Be Doing:
- Test and evaluate HVAC systems for performance, safety, and reliability.
- Set up and configure test stands based on engineering specifications.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify system issues and inconsistencies.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Document test data, observations, and results accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve system performance.
- Assist with building and modifying testing setups.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience required.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience using gauges, thermometers, and pressure tools.
- Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read technical documentation and schematics.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Background:
- HVAC technical training or trade school.
- EPA Certification.
Work Environment:
- Hands-on technical setting working with HVAC systems and testing equipment.
- Physically active role with standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
