Openwork is seeking an organized and dependable Justice Court Clerk for a full-time opportunity in Houston, TX. We're looking for someone with strong clerical, computer, and customer service skills who can accurately support daily court operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building long-term experience within a professional judicial environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Maintain court dockets, records, and files.
Prepare correspondence and other court documents.
Coordinate court appearances.
Administer oaths as required.
Perform accurate data entry.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
Prepare certified copies and reports.
Maintain organized and accurate documentation.
Assist with general clerical and court-related duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

1+ year of computer and clerical experience required.
1+ year of paralegal, legal, court, or judicial system experience strongly preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills required, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong computer and data-entry skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organization.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable assisting callers and the public in a professional manner.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Dependable attendance and professional demeanor.
