Position Overview
Openwork is seeking a driven and dependable Maintenance / Utility Worker to support a fast-paced industrial facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment while supporting daily operations and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain plant floors, work areas, and equipment.
- Sanitize pallets, tools, respirators, break rooms, and locker rooms.
- Remove and properly dispose of trash and debris.
- Maintain indoor and outdoor work areas, including areas around plant equipment.
- Operate a forklift to transport materials and waste bins.
- Operate floor sweeper and assist with general labor tasks.
- Follow verbal and written instructions and complete assigned tasks with sign-offs.
- Support production areas through cross-training as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines, state regulations, and QMS procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of industrial, janitorial, or warehouse experience.
- Previous utility or sanitation experience preferred.
- Forklift experience required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and remain active throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
- Must be clean-shaven and able to wear a respirator for most of the shift.
- Must follow all safety protocols, including end-of-shift hygiene procedures.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
