Schedule: Night Shift | 2:45 PM – 3:45 AM (30-minute lunch, overtime as needed)

Position Overview:
Openwork is partnering with a leading HVAC manufacturer to hire a dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on warehouse work, value safety and organization, and are looking for long-term growth with a stable company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload containers and truckload shipments, including HVAC parts and systems
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and organize materials
- Handle and transport materials throughout the warehouse to support workflow
- Tag and label parts and compressors per company standards
- Collaborate with logistics, sales, and service teams to support operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety regulations and warehouse procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience required
- Strong material handling experience in a warehouse setting
- Experience operating large forklifts preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Team-oriented with a positive and reliable work ethic
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Work Environment & Requirements:
- Active warehouse setting with indoor and outdoor work
- Overtime as needed based on production demands
- Safety-toe shoes (steel or composite) required; additional PPE provided
