Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an experienced Press Brake Operator job in Spartanburg, SC. In this technical, skilled role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Amada Press Brake equipment, programming complex bend operations, and working with a team that values precision and efficiency. In a Press Brake Operator job you'll be responsible for:
- Setting up, running, and operating Amada Press Brake with custom punch/die tooling
- Programming complex bending operations including angles, step bends, and back gauge transfers
- Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and geometric tolerances
- Training junior operators and coordinating workflow based on expertise levels
- Working with material handlers to ensure job materials are available on schedule
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of Press Brake setup and programming experience
- Proficient understanding and interpretation of blueprints
- Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent organizational skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Schedule: 2nd (3rd) shift 5:00 pm - 5:30 am Monday - Thursday
