Warehouse Receiving & Inventory Operations
Openwork is hiring an experienced Receiving Specialist for a manufacturing operation in Oklahoma City, OK 73179. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily warehouse and production operations.
Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of receiving experience, experience working with MRP systems, and current forklift certification.
Position at a Glance:
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73179
Pay: $18.50–$19.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Start time: 6:00 AM
Availability: Must be available to work until at least 4:30 PM daily
Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Overtime: As needed based on business needs
Pay: $18.50–$19.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Start time: 6:00 AM

What You'll Be Doing:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
- Verify materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documents.
- Count, label, organize, and properly store incoming materials.
- Enter receiving and inventory information into the MRP system.
- Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and material tracking.
- Operate a forklift to move and organize materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, production, and shipping teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Follow company receiving, inventory, and safety procedures.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 2 years of receiving experience.
- MRP system experience.
- Current forklift certification and forklift experience.
- Experience verifying purchase orders, packing slips, and incoming materials.
- Basic computer and inventory data-entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to communicate and understand English.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be available to work until at least 4:30 PM daily.
