Immediate Receptionist Opportunity

Openwork is seeking an experienced Bilingual Temporary Receptionist for an immediate opportunity in Downtown Houston. We're looking for someone with 2+ years of receptionist or front-desk experience who is strong on the phones, highly organized, professional with visitors, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

Accuracy is especially important in this position. Candidates must be confident answering, screening, and transferring calls to the correct departments while managing multiple front-desk responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

Greet visitors and assist with check-in.
Answer, screen, and accurately transfer incoming calls.
Direct visitors and callers to the appropriate department or service.
Provide general information without offering legal advice.
Receive and organize forms, mail, and other documents.
Complete data entry, scanning, filing, copying, and other clerical duties.
Schedule appointments and notify staff when visitors arrive.
Protect confidential and sensitive case information.
Remain calm and professional when assisting individuals dealing with difficult family situations.
Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of receptionist, front desk, or similar professional office experience required.
Bilingual required.
Strong phone and call-transfer skills required.
Experience handling multiple incoming calls in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable with data entry and general clerical responsibilities.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Professional, patient, and courteous when assisting visitors and callers.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive or challenging situations.
Available to start immediately.

Assignment Details:

This position is expected to last approximately one month, with the possibility of an extension depending on business needs and candidate performance.
