Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team at a company that builds restaurant seating booths. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing and fabric work, with attention to detail and quality. This role is crucial in producing durable, professional, and attractive seating for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sew, assemble, and upholster restaurant booths according to specifications.
- Operate industrial sewing machines and other sewing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure, cut, and prepare fabrics and materials for assembly.
- Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven sewing experience, preferably with industrial sewing machines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work standing for long periods and handle fabrics and materials.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in upholstery or furniture manufacturing.
- Ability to read patterns or blueprints.
- MUST be able to pass a math/tape measure test.
