Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Senior Quality Engineer in Spartanburg. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring product and process conformity, reducing variation, preventing defects, and driving continuous improvement across production, suppliers, and customer interfaces.

- Lead closed-loop problem solving (8D/A3), including containment, root cause, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
- Implement and improve shop-floor quality systems to meet shipping requirements.
- Plan and execute process/product audits and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001; internal auditor certification preferred.
- Proficiency with 8D/A3, PFMEA, control plans, MSA, SPC, and corrective action systems.
Pay: $80,000-$85,000 DOE
