Openwork is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Equipment Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting industrial equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and keeping production running efficiently.

What You'll Do:
- Perform preventive maintenance on sheet metal fabrication equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Inspect machinery for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
- Maintain maintenance logs and repair records.
- Monitor and organize maintenance tools and spare parts inventory.
- Recommend equipment improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Train machine operators on basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors for specialized repairs and replacement parts.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
What We're Looking For:
- 2–4+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience.
- Experience in a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, machinery manuals, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial equipment systems preferred.
- Ability to lift equipment and remain active throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical or vocational maintenance training preferred.
