Seeking: Sheet Metal Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Dallas, TX 75247.
Pay: $25.00–$34.00 per hour (Based on Experience) | Weekly Pay.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
Employment Type: Full-Time.

Openwork is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Equipment Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing facility in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex industrial equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and helping keep production running at peak performance. What You'll Be Doing:

Perform preventive maintenance on sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose equipment issues and complete timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
Inspect machinery for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and spare parts inventory.
Recommend equipment improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
Train machine operators on basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Work closely with production teams to support daily operations.
Coordinate with equipment vendors for specialized repairs and replacement parts.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance standards.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
2–4+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience required.
Experience maintaining sheet metal fabrication equipment or similar manufacturing equipment strongly preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to lift equipment and remain active throughout the shift.
