Location: Northwest Houston, TX 77041.
Pay: $17.00 per hour | Weekly Pay.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start | 8-hour shifts.
Overtime: Required as needed, including short notice.
Employment Type: Full-Time.

Join Our Team:
Openwork is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Showroom Attendant for an established company in Northwest Houston. This hands-on role combines warehouse, inventory, material handling, order fulfillment, and customer service responsibilities.

We're looking for a bilingual, organized, and safety-minded candidate who is comfortable working with steel products while maintaining a professional and welcoming showroom environment.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Keep the showroom clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready.
  • Maintain shelves, product displays, labels, and inventory levels.
  • Unpack, label, organize, and prepare products for display or sale.
  • Perform inventory checks and communicate stock needs.
  • Assist customers professionally and provide product information.
  • Accurately fill orders and follow pick tickets and customer instructions.
  • Use tape measures and basic math to verify orders.
  • Safely operate forklifts, threading machines, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bilingual communication skills required.
  • Warehouse, manufacturing, material-handling, or similar experience.
  • Steel manufacturing or steel warehouse experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to read pick tickets and use a tape measure.
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to accuracy.
  • Forklift or industrial equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong organization and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to remain active throughout the shift.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including when provided with short notice.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to meet required background and drug/alcohol screening requirements.

Work Environment & Expectations:
This is a customer-facing warehouse and showroom position. Candidates should maintain a professional appearance while following all required PPE and workplace safety standards. The position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely around steel products and warehouse equipment.
