Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Sprayer Machine Operator position in Spartanburg. As a Sprayer Machine Operator, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint using the machine to metal surfaces. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Responsibilities for this Sprayer Operator job include:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
Select and mix paint colors to match specifications.
Apply paint to surfaces using a spray gun.
Ensure that paint is applied evenly and without drips or runs.
Monitor drying times and make adjustments as necessary.
Clean and maintain spray guns and other equipment.
Proven experience as a Spray Painter or similar role such as an automated welding machine operator.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
Must have basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Hours/Work Schedule: 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm

Pay: $18-20 depending on experience
