Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with exams, treatments, and routine veterinary procedures.
- Feed, monitor, and maintain clean and safe animal enclosures.
- Safely handle and restrain animals during exams and diagnostics.
- Administer medications and assist with testing under supervision.
- Maintain clean, organized, and sterile treatment areas.
- Document patient care, treatments, and observations accurately.
- Support pet owners with basic care guidance and instructions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in animal care, veterinary, or shelter environments.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft Office.
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced clinic and shelter setting.
- Exposure to animals, noise, and varying conditions.
- Active role requiring standing, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
