Position: Warehouse Associate / General Labor (Path to Assembly)
Location: Stafford, TX 77477
Pay: $15.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Great daytime shift—no late nights, no weekends!)
The Houston team at Openwork has teamed up with a high-growth manufacturing facility in Stafford, and we are hunting for a self-motivated go-getter ready to make an immediate impact.
This starts as a high-priority, two-week warehouse transformation project. Prove your work ethic, efficiency, and sharp eye for detail, and you could immediately transition into a permanent role on the Assembly Team.
What You’ll Be Doing: You won’t just be moving boxes; you will take full ownership of overhauling the warehouse floor:
- Organize & Optimize: Take charge of sorting supplies, clearing out outdated materials, and streamlining inventory storage.
- Deep Clean: Restore warehouse equipment and parts to peak shape (including hands-on pressure washing).
- Reset the Floor: Reconfigure layouts and stage cleaned equipment for seamless operational flow.
Who We’re Looking For:
We need someone who sees what needs to be done and jumps into action—zero hand-holding required:
- Proactive Self-Starter: You don't wait around for instructions. When one task finishes, you spot the next priority and knock it out.
- Practical Problem-Solver: You can assess a cluttered space, devise an efficient sorting system, and execute independently.
- Hands-On Experience: Prior warehouse, general labor, or equipment-cleaning experience.
- Reliability & Drive: High stamina, attention to detail, and a clear ambition to learn new skills and earn a permanent spot on the assembly line.
