Openwork is hiring a dependable Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate for a well-established Houston company that has proudly served the law enforcement industry since 1971. Responsibilities:
- Perform daily shipping and receiving operations.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment efforts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or defects.
- Update inventory data using Microsoft Excel and Great Plains.
- Organize inventory locations, labels, and warehouse storage areas.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and vendors to support efficient operations.
- Follow company procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience required.
- Inventory control experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Great Plains required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ability to lift materials and remain active throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
