Overview:
Openwork is partnering with a growing organization to hire a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk. This role supports both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and plays a key role in maintaining accurate and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and enter bills accurately into accounting systems (QuickBooks preferred).
- Manage vendor communications, statements, and payment processing.
- Print and distribute checks and monitor recurring payments.
- Assist with collections and accounts receivable follow-up.
- Support document management including scanning, filing, and organizing records.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting, AP/AR, or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Work Environment:
- Professional office setting.
- Primarily sedentary role with extended computer use.
- Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
