In an Accounts Receivable Specialist job you’ll be responsible for:
- Generating and distributing accurate customer invoices while investigating and resolving any billing discrepancies.
- Posting and applying various customer payments, including checks and ACH, to maintain and reconcile customer accounts.
- Monitoring AR aging reports and professionally communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances to manage collections.
- Utilizing internal systems like EPMS to manage job-based invoicing and supporting month-end close activities.
- Collaborating across functional teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure job completion alignment and accurate billing.
What you’ll need:
- 2-5 years of dedicated Accounts Receivable experience.
- Proven experience with invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with job-based billing systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- The ability to learn quickly during a structured onboarding and transition period.
