Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist in Marietta, GA. In this critical and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for supporting a structured transition within the accounting department, managing cash flow for a brand that connects innovative SaaS technology and marketing solutions, and working closely with a collaborative CFO. In an Accounts Receivable Specialist job you’ll be responsible for:

Generating and distributing accurate customer invoices while investigating and resolving any billing discrepancies.
Posting and applying various customer payments, including checks and ACH, to maintain and reconcile customer accounts.
Monitoring AR aging reports and professionally communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances to manage collections.
Utilizing internal systems like EPMS to manage job-based invoicing and supporting month-end close activities.
Collaborating across functional teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure job completion alignment and accurate billing.

What you’ll need:

2-5 years of dedicated Accounts Receivable experience.
Proven experience with invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with job-based billing systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
The ability to learn quickly during a structured onboarding and transition period.

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $48,000 - $58,000 annually.
