Position Overview:
Openwork is hiring a dependable Decoiler / Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and playing a key part in keeping materials flowing efficiently through production.
Core Responsibilities:
- Load large rolls of material onto production equipment.
- Feed materials into production lines and monitor flow.
- Assist machine operators to maintain smooth and continuous operations.
- Identify and resolve minor issues such as jams or misfeeds.
- Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Stage materials for production and shipping.
- Maintain organized inventory and clean work areas.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse support.
Qualifications:
Required Experience and Skills:
- Forklift experience required.
- Previous material handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and remain active throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Safety and Compliance Requirements:
- Must be clean-shaven for proper respirator fit.
- Must be able to wear a respirator throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to shower at the end of each shift per safety protocols.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
