Now Hiring: Decoiler / Material Handler (2nd Shift).

Location: Northeast of Houston.
Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour (higher rate possible based on experience) | Weekly Pay.
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 2:45 PM – 1:30 AM | Overtime available.
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire.

Position Overview:
Openwork is hiring a dependable Decoiler / Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and playing a key part in keeping materials flowing efficiently through production.

Core Responsibilities:

Load large rolls of material onto production equipment.
Feed materials into production lines and monitor flow.
Assist machine operators to maintain smooth and continuous operations.
Identify and resolve minor issues such as jams or misfeeds.
Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Stage materials for production and shipping.
Maintain organized inventory and clean work areas.

Additional Responsibilities:

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse support.

Qualifications:

Required Experience and Skills:

Forklift experience required.
Previous material handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to lift heavy materials and remain active throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Safety and Compliance Requirements:

Must be clean-shaven for proper respirator fit.
Must be able to wear a respirator throughout the shift.
Must be willing to shower at the end of each shift per safety protocols.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
