Manufacturing & Wood Product Assembly

Openwork is hiring an experienced General Laborer for a manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This hands-on position involves producing wood products, supporting assembly-line operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.

Qualified candidates must have at least 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience and be comfortable working in a labor-intensive, non-climate-controlled environment.

Position at a Glance

Location: Denton, TX

Pay: $18.00 per hour | Weekly Pay

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Shift: 1st Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Overtime: Required as needed, including shifts of up to 12 hours and weekends when necessary

What You'll Be Doing:

Produce and assemble wood products in a manufacturing environment.
Perform general labor duties on a high-production assembly line.
Follow written instructions and product specification sheets.
Handle materials and support daily production activities.
Check work for accuracy and quality.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow company safety and production procedures.
Assist with additional manufacturing duties as needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience — REQUIRED.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to read and follow product specification sheets.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and remain active throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in a labor-intensive, non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
Availability for required overtime, including 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed.
Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
