Openwork is seeking an experienced Maintenance Multi-Craft Mechanic to support a fast-paced industrial operation. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical and automated equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance including inspection, lubrication, testing, and adjustments.
- Diagnose and repair machinery such as welders, slitters, presses, conveyors, hoists, cranes, and forklifts.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Adjust, calibrate, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect motors, belts, drives, and fluid systems; replace filters and components as needed.
- Set up and operate plant equipment to support maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow all safety procedures.
- Coordinate parts and supplies needed for repairs.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred:
- 5-7 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Technical training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley or Siemens preferred).
- Welding, fabrication, or machining experience.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
Work Environment & Expectations:
- Industrial setting with active machinery and equipment.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and components.
- Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
